DELIVERY METHODS

Stock program impressal®

A lacquer image is also known as a transfer or decal and is a decoration system consisting solely of paints, lacquers and, if necessary, an adhesive layer.

A lacquer image is a very thin image film that gives the impression that the image motif has been printed directly onto the decorative surface.

This decorative system offers almost unlimited possibilities and can be used on many surfaces for individual lettering, decorations, and brand names.

The finished lacquer images can be transferred in a very short time by pressing them on manually or mechanically.

In view of the wide range of possible applications, we have developed our own product qualities to meet different requirements.

  • SCOPE OF APPLICATION - impressal®

impressal® transfers consist only of varnish, ink, and adhesive.

They have an extremely thin image film and are highly resistant to many chemical and mechanical influences.

impressal® WB is suitable for plastics that emit gases.

  • SCOPE OF APPLICATION - durofix®

durofix® transfers are suitable for decorations and lettering that must withstand even the most severe conditions.

They are applied using a fixative, are extremely scratch-resistant, durable for the lifetime of the substrate, and resistant to many chemical influences.

  • PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS

The surface to be decorated must be dry and free of grease, dirt, and release agents.

Loose surface particles or oxidation layers reduce durability.

The substrate to be decorated must be thoroughly cleaned and free of any residues.

  • TRANSFER INSTRUCTIONS - impressal®

    1. Place the impressal® transfer on the image side and remove the protective paper from the adhesive side, if possible at a 180° angle.
    2. Place the adhesive side of the impressal® transfer onto the area to be decorated.
    3. Smooth the image evenly from the center to the sides.
    4. Slowly peel off the transparent backing film, if possible at a 180° angle, and rub with a clean cloth if necessary.
  • TRANSFER INSTRUCTIONS - durofix®

    1. Immerse the durofix® in a flat container filled with the fixative mixture, with the image side facing down and the backing paper facing up.
    2. Remove the durofix® from the fixative mixture after approx. 30 seconds, allow it to drain, and place it on the substrate. Smooth the image evenly from the center to the sides using a squeegee.
    3. Briefly moisten the backing paper with water and slowly peel it off.
    4. Thoroughly clean the image and the adjacent substrate with a damp cloth or sponge and allow to dry.

    Recommended processing temperature:

The transfer temperature should not fall below 16°C.

Drying time: 24 hours at 24°C.

    Special features:

The individual steps must be carried out in the order specified. The parameters specified in this document are guidelines that may vary depending on the substrate and image structure. Each substrate should be tested individually.
